EMVO announcement to OBPs/MAHs - EU Hub Release 1.20

EMVO informs the OBPs/MAHs regarding the EU Hub Release 1.20 and the system updates which are in scope.

 

EU HUB -Key Actions Required (Release 1.20):

• Mandatory Schema Upgrade (Urgent)
• All OBPs must migrate from schema 2018.1 to 2021.1.
• Deadline: before January 2027 (EU HUB release 1.20)
• After this date, 2018.1 will be discontinued, and OBPs will not be able to send or receive data.

Endpoint & Certificate Changes (Critical)

• New EU Hub certificate and endpoints to be published (end 2026)
• Migration deadline: before March 2027
• Old endpoints will return errors after cutoff

What this means for OBPs

• Ensure migration to Schema 2021.1 before January 2027
• Plan upgrade to Schema 2026.1 (post-1.20),
• Coordinate with your Gateway / IT Provider, act early to avoid service disruption.

 

These updates contribute to a more stable, secure and technically resilient EU Hub, ensuring continuity of service for EMVS users.
